About N40.42 billion was lost in the Nigerian stock market on Monday, 6 March 2023, as the equity capitalisation depreciated by -0.13 per cent.
This led to the market capitalisation dropping to N30.29 trillion, slightly from N30.33 trillion recorded on Friday, 3 March 2023.
The All-Share Index lost 74.21 basis points from the 55,679.78 ASI reported on Friday to close at 55,605.57 ASI.
Investors exchanged 123.54 million shares in 4,076 deals on Monday, worth N2.48 billion.
It contrasted with the 730.60 million shares traded on Friday in 3,532 deals worth N2 billion.
