Friday’s trading session closed with the market valuation of the Nigerian Stock Exchange rising from N28.34 trillion to N28.60 trillion, after gaining N252.52 billion.
The All Share Index also appreciated by 463.63 basis points to 52,048.85 ASI, rising from Thursday’s 52,512.48 ASI.
Over 217.16 million shares were traded in 4,591 deals on Friday, valued at N2.55 billion. It contrasted when compared to the 211.74 million shares exchanged in 3,462 deals on Thursday.
Total share appreciated by N19.30kobo to rise from N193 to N212.30kobo per share
Berger grew by N0.60kobo, up from N6 to N6.60kobo per share
Linkage Assurance ended trading with N0.44kobo from N0.40kobo per share, rising by 10 per cent.
Thomas Wyatt gained N0.13kobo to end trading at N1.48kobo, having opened with N1.35kobo per share.
Prestige stock was up by 9.52 per cent, closing with N0.46kobo from N0.42kobo per share
Lasaco depreciated by N0.11kobo, dwindling from N1.10kobo to N0.99kobo per share.
CWG also fell by N0.10kobo to end trading at N0.95kobo, after opening with N1.05kobo per share.
Chellaram followed the same path, losing N0.14kobo after trading hours, to sell at N1.34kobo from N1.48kobo per share.
Royal Exchange reported a decline of 7.14 per cent from the previous day’s share price of N0.98kobo to end trading at N0.91kobo per share.
Fidson share depreciated to N9.34kobo from N9.79kobo, after losing N0.45kobo during trading hours.
Zenith Bank reported 20.31 million shares valued at N517.73 million were traded on its floor
GTCO recorded 18.20 million shares valued at N517.73 million
UBA saw investors trade 17.14 million of its shares valued at N449.90 million
Sterling Bank recorded 15.80 million shares exchanged on its floor, worth N24.34 million
