Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has expressed his warmest congratulations to Dame Virgy Etiaba on the occasion of her 81st birthday celebration.
Dame Virgy Etiaba, a native of Nnewi, was a former Governor of Anambra State from November 2006 to February 2007, making her the first woman to serve as governor of a Nigerian state.
According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Christian Aburime, Soludo congratulated her on behalf of the state and its citizens, for reaching this amazing milestone and for her dedicated service to our great state.
The governor further noted that birthdays are special moments to treasure the gift of life noting that her selfless commitment and contributions to public service in Anambra State remain commendable.
“Governor Soludo prayed that as she celebrates this special day with family and friends, may her life remain filled with continued love, good health and happiness,” Aburime stated.
