Anatune, also known as Onwa Awa reportedly died of cardiac arrest on Saturday 30 April, at Amaku General Hospital in the state, barely few days after his 62nd birthday.
Governor Soludo said he received the news of Anatune’s sudden death with shock and deep pains.
He described Anatune as one of the foremost apostles of the Soludo Project who with an uncommon courage and strength delivered on any assignment given to him.
He stated further that Anatune’s personal sacrifices during his election campaign were not only exceptional but highly commendable, adding that the government and people of Anambra State will sorely him.
Anatune spearheaded the Soludo Promoters Forum (SPF) and for two years used the platform to engage the professionals into mainstream politics.

“He was an outstanding prolific writer and famous for his parting words, “Be of Good Cheers!” Aburime stated.
