See How Friends Celebrated Valentine With Mentally Challenged Schoolmate

Despite the increasing erosion of shared-humanity values as a result of the negative effect of individualism culture in the world today, there are still people who haven’t lost it completely.

During the Valentine’s Day celebration three days ago, a couple of Alumni members of the University of Jos, Nigeria, took it upon themselves to visit Bakana in Rivers State, from the comfort of their homes in Abuja to celebrate with their former classmate, Mr. Minabelem Hilary, who became mentally unstable on the eve of his Masters degree defence.

Watch the video here:

After spending time with Minabelem, they took him to the Psychiatry Hospital in Rumuigbo, Port Harcourt, and paid for his treatment and admission in a private ward with the sum of N320, 000.

They equally bought him new clothes and exchange pleasantries with him, a noble act that drew tears in the eyes of people in the area.
