LAGOS State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, has been ejected from secretariat over unpaid rent.
The owner of the PDP Secretariat located at 56A Adekunle Fajuyi Road, GRA, Lagos, evicted his tenant over unpaid rents running into millions of naira.
Spokesman of Lagos State chapter of the PDP, Taofik Gani said the development was unfortunate because the party had recently made payment of about N8m.
Gani, expressed sadness over the development which he said was uncalled for.
The image maker of the party said “To the best of my knowledge, I know there were demands for outstanding rent and infact some payments had been made with balance to be paid soonest, but I am not aware of any court process to evict us at all.
“Due process be followed so as to avoid any ‘kangaroo’ process to embarrass and distabilize the main opposition in the state.
