Popular Gospel Ministers Who Died In 2022 Before Sammie Okposo

The burial rites of gospel artiste Sammie Okposo was rounded off on Sunday (December 18) with an Outing Service at the Logic Church, Lekki, Lagos.

Before Sunday’s service, the obsequies started last week Tuesday with the Sammie Okposo Farewell Praise Party (S. O. F. P. P) which was tagged the ‘Industry Tributes Night’ at La Madison Place, Oniru, Lagos.

A Service of Songs was held the next day while Thursday and Saturday were also days that ‘Celebration of Life’ in honour of the 51 year old was held.

Before the demise of the Welu Welu crooner, there were three other gospel artistes that Nigerians mourned in the year 2022.

Prime Business Africa remembers these artistes.

Osinachi Nwachukwu

Osinachi Nwachukwu was the voice behind the hit gospel song ‘Ekwueme’.

Many of his fans confessed that her songs in one or another ministered to them and were enough to convert an unbeliever to a Christian.

Osinachi Nwachukwu was the unfortunate victim of domestic violence as her husband Peter Nwachukwu going by the accounts of several witnesses including their children – turned into a monster that beat her at the slightest provocation.

Osinachi reportedly died due to complications from a kick on the chest and not from a cancer-related sickness as disclosed by the husband.

Peter Nwachukwu, husband of Osinachi, has since been arrested by the police.
