Obi To Hold International Press Conference

Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, is set to hold an international press conference today, November 6th. The announcement came through a statement released on Monday by the National Publicity Secretary of LP, Obiora Ifoh.

According to the statement, “His Excellency Peter Obi will be addressing a World Press Conference, which is scheduled for 2 pm today at his Campaign Headquarters.”

This press conference marks Peter Obi’s first official media appearance since his recent loss at the Supreme Court. It’s worth noting that this development follows closely on the heels of last week’s denial by his campaign spokesman, Yunusa Tanko, who refuted rumours suggesting that Obi had gone into hiding following the Supreme Court’s judgement.

Tanko clarified that the LP candidate had travelled abroad well before receiving notice from the court, and he also indicated that Peter Obi would address the Nigerian public upon his return to the country
