Obi Takes Campaign To Sokoto, Meets Sultan [Photos]

Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, his running mate, Dr Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed and other members of the party’s presidential campaign team have arrived in Sokoto for a rally today, February 1, 2023.

As part of their programme, the team paid a courtesy visit to the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III.

While announcing his arrival at Sultan’s palace, Obi in a tweet around 12 pm wrote: “Courtesy call by Datti and I on His Eminence, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto at his Palace. We’re most grateful for his hospitality and usual warmth.”
