The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has expressed sadness over the death of Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie’s Son, in a statement on Twitter.
Recall that yesterday, Prime Business Africa reported the loss of Edochie’s son, Kambilichukwu Edochie. It was said that the actor’s son was rushed to the hospital after falling unconscious.
Confirming his death, a family member who spoke with Vanguard, was quoted as saying that Kambilichukwu died while preparing for his forthcoming examinations scheduled for Wednesday.
Commiserating with the actor, Peter Obi made a condolence post in a thread of tweets on his offical Twitter account. The statement read:
“I send my most sincere condolences to Yul and May Edochie, over the death of their beloved first son Kambilichukwu. Death of a loved one, is always a painful experience, moreso that of a son. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Edochie Family,as we ask God to strengthen and comfort Kambilichukwu’s parents, his doting grandfather Pete Edochie and the entire Edochie family. May God Almighty give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss, and grant Kambilichukwu eternal rest in his kingdom. -PO”

The young boy is the first son and second child of Yul and his wife, May. He recently celebrated his 15th birthday, and his parents celebrated him. “My first son just turned 15. Happy birthday to you Kambi Leo Yul-Edochie. Many more great years I wish you with loads of accomplishments and greatness. May God be with you always. Daddy loves you,” the actor wrote on Instagram.
