Tottenham Hotspur Resume Talks With Conte After Man United Defeat

By Izuchukwu Okosi

Former Chelsea and Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte is reportedly  back on the agenda of Tottenham after their 3-0 defeat to Manchester United on Saturday.

Spurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo is under increasing pressure after a poor start to the season, including the defeat to an under pressured Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his team. This is despite topping the table after two weeks into the new season.

Italian news publication TMW report that Spurs definitely want to take Conte as their new coach.

The communication lines are running hot and there is even talk of a potentially quick agreement.

Conte has been out of work ever since leaving Inter at the end of last season’s title winning campaign but was said to have rejected Spurs’ earlier overtures as Spurs Chairman Danny Levy failed to guarantee that there would spendings in the summer transfer window.
