Nollywood Star Actor KOK Slams Social Media’s Death Rumour

Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo Modestus Onyekwere best known as Kanayo O Kanayo (KOK) has reacted furiously to malicious rumours about his death on social media platforms reports Prime Business Africa.

The action of the said poster who compiled his pictures and accompanied it by the three-letter words ‘RIP’ has enraged the 60-year-old actor and lawyer who responded to it via a short video posted on one of his Facebook pages.

“You think because you have access to the social media you can publish anything,” said the Oguta, Imo state born thespian.

“I don’t know why people publish their own obituary. I don’t know what will make someone tag me on such posts on social media.

“Do most people think that Nollywood actors and entertainers don’t have families?

“What kind of life do they think we live? Someone wakes up, compiles 4-5 pictures and writes RIP.

“You will not live past the next seven (7) days, You have got the wrong guy. My life has never been in anybody’s hands.

The actor who has acted in hordes of movies took time to thank well wishers who were worried about his health and reached out to him.

“I want to thank families and friends who have called me since morning. I’m hale and hearty, not even having fever.

“Thank you very much. Whoever have compiled these pictures, publish (their) obituary, you have just 7 days. Thanks for your kindness” he concluded.
