No official of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has arrived at various polling units in the University of Nigeria Nsukka community.
Our correspondent reports that as of 10:20 am, no INEC official has been sighted at polling units at the New Arts Theatre, General Studies Building, and Princess Alexandria Auditorium (PAA) inside the UNN Nsukka campus.
Prime Business Africa reports that people around Nsukka and some parts of Enugu State complained that no INEC official had arrived as at 9.30 am, more than an hour into the time scheduled for accreditation/voting.
The most affected areas are Enugu metropolis, at Enugu South, Uwani West. A voter at the the Uwani Boys Secondary School, told PBA that voters are ready “to wait it out”, although no INEC official is in sight this moment (9.20 a.m).
