Data obtained from the stock market authority, Nigerian Exchanged Limited (NGX) on Friday, showed that the market capitalisation rose by 0.15 per cent.
The value of the Nigerian stock exchange increased by N50 billion on Thursday, as the bourse closed at N28.42 trillion, up from Thursday’s N28.37 trillion market capitalisation.
The All-Share Index rallied from 52,109.43 ASI, after mopping 78.5 basis points today, to end trading at 52,187.93 ASI.
About 810.77 million shares, valued at N8.20 billion, were traded on Friday, contrasting the N5.14 billion exchanged for 334.23 million shares.
