#NigeriaDecides: Labour Party Wins In Eti-osa, Kosofe Local Government Areas of Lagos State

The Labour Party have been declared victorious in the Eti-osa and Kosofe Local Government Areas of Lagos State in the early hours of Monday morning as collation of results continue following Saturday’s general elections.

Information from the Lagos state Collation centre shows that the Labour Party (LP) garnered 42, 388 votes ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with 15, 317 votes while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) both polled 3,369 and 381 votes respectively in Eti-osa Local Government Area.

At the Kosofe Local Government Area, the Labour Party also emerged winners at the polls as it claimed 46,554 votes. The APC were second on the final results collated from the local government areas with 36, 883 votes.

PDP had 4,058 votes while the NNPP finished with 902 votes.

Labour Party’s flagbearer, Peter Obi had also won in Amuwo-odofin and Somolu Local Government Areas.

In total, the former Anambra state Governor has won in five out of 12 states in Lagos State whose results have been collated as at the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, the All Progressive Congress (APC) were declared the winners in Lagos Mainland Local Government Area from 11 wards with 20,030 votes.

The Labour Party (LP) had 18, 698 votes in the Local Government while the PDP won a paltry 3,002 votes.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed until 11am Monday the commencement of votes collation in the presidential polls.

He has been part of cast in some Nollywood movies and radio dramas including Blood Money 2, Scores To Settle, Dead End 2, Another Campus Tale and Battle Line. Aside mainstream media and the entertainment industry, he has interests in scouting/unearthing of talents in the sports and creative sectors, exports business and property development.
