Navy Debunks Report Of Attack By Militants In Niger Delta

THE Nigerian Navy has debunked reports of an attack by militants on one of its facilities in the Niger Delta.

The Director of Information, Commodore Suleiman Dahun, said the video clip was a simulation exercise conducted by the Nigerian Navy Special Boat Service operatives during an occupation in a naval base.

The navy spokesman said since March 2021, the Nigerian military has been carrying out simulation in partnership with the United States in the fight against terrorism and piracy.

According to him, the Nigerian Navy has been collaborating with the United States and other security agencies in combating insecurity on the waterways.
