The loan, reports in the English media revealed is set at €70 million.

However, it is not stated how much Manchester City will pay in the wages of the 28-year-old or if Bayern Munich will cover the entirety of his salary for the duration of his stint.

On Monday, the football world was shocked by the news that Joao Cancelo, hitherto considered as a Guardiola favourite, would be on his way to Bayern Munich on loan.

The Daily Mail however report that he had a massive ‘bust-up’ with manager Pep Guardiola after being left out of the starting XI for the FA Cup game against Arsenal.
