LADOL Passes Quality Standards Audit, Retains ISO 9001 Certification

LAGOS Deep Offshore Logistics Base (LADOL) has retained its International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) 9001:2015 certification after a three-day audit by leading Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) firm, Bureau Veritas.

LADOL retained its certification after the audit which covered the facilities and services in the zone. The organisation set itself apart as a leader in quality standards, compliance, maintaining its mark as a competitive global player in the maritime, oil, and gas industry.

The ISO 9001:2015 is the world’s highest quality accreditation in systems management, specifying the requirements for creation and implementation of management systems to ensure that organisations can consistently provide products and services that meet customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

The ISO 9001 also aims to create a cycle of continuous improvement in standards and quality by tasking organizations that meet the standard to continuously improve their processes to retain their certifications.

Managing Director of LADOL, Dr. Amy Jadesimi, reacting to the successful re-certification said, “I want to thank all of our staff who have made compliance a way of life and ensured that we can keep operating safely and efficiently despite the ongoing challenges.

LADOL’s Governance Risk and Compliance Coordinator, Mr. Abiodun Ogunyemi, stated that the achievement was a reiteration of the company’s commitment to quality even at a time when it is difficult to do business.

According to Ogunyemi, LADOL has maintained a systematic approach to quality management.
