Kits Manufacturer, Nike, Designs New Jerseys For Super Eagles

Kits manufacturer, Nike, has designed new sets of national team jerseys for the Super Eagles to be launched in the international friendlies against Ghana and Mali on Friday and next week Tuesday, reports Prime Business Africa.

The new home and away jerseys come with a captivating and unique style and contemporary edge and bear some semblance of recent world-class designs that most football teams and fans adore.

Interestingly, the home jerseys in the new Nike designs are of the white colour which previously was the country’s away jersey.

The away jersey is now the green-coloured with both sets of jerseys having the name NAIJA inscribed on the football crest on the front rather than Nigeria written in full..

The jerseys were unveiled on the X (Twitter) handle of the Sports Kits company

The home jersey features a simple white design with green tape adorning the edges of the sleeves and shorts, and the Nike logo positioned above the ‘NAIJA’ emblem.

Nike matches the Nigeria 2024 home football shirt with clean white shorts and socks, ensuring a sleek and cohesive appearance on the field.

The Nigeria 2024 away kit showcases a bold green graphic pattern, distinguishing it from past designs with its unique style. Nike Designs New Jerseys For Super Eagles.

The idea behind having the white coloured jersey as the new home kit rather than the green might be unconnected to the superstitious belief by some sections of Nigerians that the white colour does not have the same lucky charm as the green one.
