Super Eagles stars Alex Iwobi (Everton) and the duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman (Leicester City) were in action for their clubs Wednesday night in a pulsating 1-1 at the Goodison Park in one of the Premier League games on display reports Prime Business Africa.
Everton are hoping to avoid the ignominy of relegation as they sat just three places away from relegation places.
Iwobi was on action for all 90 minutes in the game while the duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman started the game and came from the bench respectively.
English winger Harvey Barnes who was substituted by Ademola Lookman in the 67th minute put the away side ahead as early as the 5th minute with a close finish after Iheanacho saw his low shot blocked but Brazilian striker Richarlison restored parity in added time as Frank Lampard and his boys eased their relegation troubles.
Iheanacho came off the substitute with 13 minutes to go in place of Zambian striker Patson Daka.
Both Africans have continued to be called to action in the absence of star striker Jamie Vardy due to injury.
