IPOB Compensates Victims Of Disrupted WAEC Exams

THE leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has condemned the reported attack on Okporo Secondary School School In Njaba, by persons suspected to be members of the group, pledging to compensate the victims.

The students were chased out of their classes during the WAEC examination and the motorcycles of their invigilators, set on fire.

In a release signed by IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, the group described the attack as barbaric, heinous and stupid, and vowed to deal ruthlessly with those behind the act.

In his words, “IPOB leadership is hereby promising to replace those motorbikes burnt in the school to their owners and rebuild school blocks burnt by hoodlums in the name of ESN and IPOB volunteers.”

He promised to set up a task force to checkmate those parading themselves as IPOB volunteers and committing crimes against the people of the state.

The spokesman called on the school management and those who lost their properties to contact the nearest IPOB  for possible compensations.
