Gray, Richarlison Shine For Everton As Arsenal Suffer Second Successive EPL Defeat

Arsenal conceded a late goal to slip to a 2-1 defeat to Everton on Monday night at the Goodison Park four days after their narrow 3-2 loss to Manchester United.

Martin Odegaard handed the Gunners the lead after the VAR correctly ruled out two Everton goals ‘scored’ by Brazilian forward Richarlison.

However there was no stopping the 2020 Olympics gold medallist when he headed in the ball in the second half as the Toffees high press paid off.

Eddie Nketiah who came off the bench in place of Gabriel Martinelli had a golden chance to put the north London side back in front but hit the post, and deep intom stoppage time Demarai Gray curled in the winner from the edge of the box.

Arsenal’s next league game is against Southampton at the Emirates before a short trip to visit West Ham United.
