Afrobasket Queen Set To Organise Basketball Camps For Young Girls
Nigeria’s D’Tigress 2021 Afrobasket winning star Adaora Elonu was on Friday hosted by Enugu state governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi at the Government House with pomp.
Elonu, the Most Valuable Player at the 2021 Afrobasket in Cameroon was also in Nigeria’s 2020 Olympic Games squad to Beijing which was pushed back due Coronavirus pandemic.
The USA trained basketballer is a proud Indigene of Enugu state from Okpatu in Udi Local Government area and is home for the yuletide as well other engagements.
The Uni Girona CB of Spain forward spoke on her plan to organise a basketball camp on Monday, December 27, 2021 at the Indoor Sports Hall, Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu, where she will teach girls the basics of basketball and encourage them to develop interest in the sports as a means of earning resources and attention.
