FG to consider start-ups plight, proffer lasting solutions – Ojudu

Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, has said the federal government would discuss plights of start-ups in Nigeria; to proffer them lasting solutions.

Ojudu made this known during a three-day start-ups tech event recently held in Abuja under the theme, “Rebuilding and Scaling in the New Normal” and organised by Seed Builders Hub.

While asking the organisers to collate challenges faced by start-ups, Ojudu promised that he and the Senior Technical Assistant to the Vice President, Dr Ebi Awosika, would present them to the VP.

He also promised that the government would create start-up centres across the country “where all kinds of cottage resources can be found, with the advantage of power, location and all their suppliers will know when they are going to find them.”

In an interview with Prime Business Africa, while admonishing that the youths pay more attention to investing in themselves, entrepreneur Folakemi Daniels said, “the federal government decision to assist young Nigerians would help elevate many struggling business enterprises.
