EFCC Plans Workshop to Eradicate Pension Fraud in Nigeria

ECONOMIC and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC), has collaborated with stakeholders in the Pension Industry to organize a two-day Sensitization Workshop to eradicate pension fraud in Nigeria.

The workshop themed, ‘Eradication of Pension Fraud in Nigeria’, has been scheduled for 5th and 6th October 2021 at the NAF Conference Centre, Abuja.

Chairman of the Commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa, noted that the workshop was majorly designed to tackle areas of corrupt practices in Pension Administration and invent strategies to curb challenges of the pension schemes in Nigeria.

Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Anti-corruption agencies, Members of the Legislature and National Pension Commission (PenCom), officials from the Military Pension Board, Police Pension Board, Pension and Records, and other related agencies are expected to attend the workshop.
