Chrisland School Death: Dancer, Kaffy, Withdraws Daughter

Nigerian talented dancer, Kaffy Shafau, has pulled out her daughter from Chrisland High School, following a report of a student’s death in the school recently.

This was disclosed in a video shared on her Instagram handle, where she spoke on the incident that led to the death of 12-year-old Whitney Adeniran, who was a student of the school.

Shafau noted that negative reports following the school have kept increasing while the school management does little or nothing to put the bad trends to an end.

Recall that Prime Business Africa had reported that Whitney’s autopsy indicated she died from electrocution during an inter-house sports competition.

The Dancer, however, expressed sadness over the unfortunate incident that has continued to happen in the school, lamenting that innocent students and parents keep receiving the pain.

She also expressed worry about the painful loss of children in Nigerian schools as a result of negligence on the part of management.

“I have to make this video as a mother, I don’t think anybody in this life prays to lose a child, it is inconsolable because it is a grief you carry forever, there is nothing that can replace it.

“I’m speaking out not in solidarity with the victim’s mum, but because my children go there. This is a school that I use to be so proud of and I thrived to put my children there because I believed in the System in the ’80s. The foundation at which the school was built, is not it.

“The entire school needs to be shut down, as I feel right now, my child is not going there, though I paid school fees already.

“It is become shut down pattern where systems are not properly put in place, it now looks like we need to sacrifice our children before a system needs to be checked,” she lamented.
