Chef Hilda Baci Denies Charging For Meet-and-Greet

Chef Hilda Effiong Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci, has firmly refuted rumours suggesting that she charged N25,000 for a personal meet-and-greet and live cooking session in Abuja.

A purported e-flier circulating on the internet claimed that Baci would be hosting an event on June 24, 2023, where attendees would need to pay the said amount for the opportunity to meet her and watch her cook.

In response to these allegations, Baci took to her Twitter handle to clarify the situation and deny the report. She wrote, “Hi everyone, This is to inform everyone that I’m not doing any meet and greet in Abuja. I would also never ask anyone to pay for such. Thanks.”

Hilda Baci gained widespread recognition when she shattered the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, completing an astounding 100 hours of continuous cooking.

Her remarkable journey commenced on May 11, 2023, at 4:00 PM, as she displayed unwavering determination and culinary expertise. Surpassing the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes held by Lata Tondon, Baci showcased her unparalleled endurance in the kitchen.
