COURT of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt has struck out an appeal by the embattled National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, challenging his suspension from the party.
Following his suspension from PDP as National Chairman, Secondus had filed a suit seeking for the court to suspend the party’s national convention scheduled to hold on October 30 and October 31, and declare him the right person to preside over the exercise.
The Court on Tuesday fixed today (Thursday) for ruling on the appeal.
In the ruling, the court directed the PDP to go ahead with the National Convention.
