Embattled British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has given his resignation address outside No 10 Downing Street on Thursday afternoon.
The prime minister is stepping down but reveals he will continue to serve until the Conservative party chooses his successor.
However a growing number of Tory MPs are saying he has to quit immediately.
The UK’s Labour party says Johnson cannot stay on as PM, or they will try to bring a no confidence vote in Parliament.
