APC Inaugurates Screening Committees For NASS, Gov. Aspirants Today

Ahead of primaries, the All Progressives Congress (APC) will inaugurate screening committees for its House of Representatives, Senate and Governorship Aspirants today, May 14, 2022.

According to a statement signed by the APC National Organizing Secretary, H.E. Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, the inauguration will take place at Fraser Suites, 294 Leventis Close, Central Business District, Abuja by 12 noon.

Argungu said the committees will commence screening excercise after the inauguration today (14th May).

The screening exercise for House of Representatives aspirants will be held  at Zeus Paradise Hotel, 1 Domenico Gitto Street, Mabushi, Abuja by 2pm and will last till Sunday 15 May, 2022.

For Senate and governorship aspirants, the committee will also begin the exercise today by 2pm and Sunday 15 May 2022 by 10am at Fraser Suites, 294 Leventis Close, Central Business District, Abuja.

It could be recalled that the ruling party adjusted its timetable for primaries of governorship from May 18 May 20, while House of Assembly is now May 22. The primaries for Senate and House of Representatives are now May 24 and 25 respectively.
