The All Progressives Congress (APC) has again adjusted its timetable/schedule of activities for Governorship, State House of Assembly, Senate and House of Representatives primary elections.
According to a statement signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Felix Morka, the revised timetable as approved by the party National Working Committee (NWC) indicated that Governorship and State House of Assembly will be held on Thursday, 26th May, 2022; Senate, Friday, 27th May, 2022; and House of Representatives, Saturday, 28th of May, 2022.
The Governorship primary will be done by state delegates, while Senate, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly will be determined by local government delegates.
This adjustment came after the NWC postponed the screening of presidential aspirants earlier scheduled to hold on Monday, 23rd May, 2022.
Morka stated that the Special Convention for the Presidential Primary will be held as scheduled on Sunday, 29th – Monday, 30th of May, 2022.
