Understanding the nature and sources of those complaints – which Prime Business Africa refers to as “pressure points” or “sources of fragility” in Africa-China relations – is key to building long-term relationship of mutual trust and cooperation between China and Africa. The paper identifies three categories of pressure points in Africa-China relations, namely economic, social and environmental.
