Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold decided to go all out for his wife and colleague, Simi and gifted her a new car just to appreciate her love and support through the years.
This couple got married in January 2019 secretly on a beach and they revealed it through a music video called ‘Promise’. They have welcomed a daughter together who is over a year old now and their marriage has continued to count more achievements and blessings as a unit.
Simi posted a video of her new car in her Instagram story yesterday where she stated that she was ‘crying’ and grateful for the gift from her husband. Although there’s no milestone that is being celebrated currently, speculations have been that he bought her this gift surrounding the fact that he just put out a song barely a week ago and had a support system in her and wants to appreciate her for that blessing.
This body of work was definitely his most vulnerable piece that he’d ever put out; being that he is a sickle cell warrior and has suffered that all his life. He revealed this to the public which had everybody shocked and even appreciate his work more because of how much sacrifices he had made to entertain his fanbase.
“People really don’t look like what they’ve been through. This is why we need to always be nice. Everybody’s fighting his own battle. Thank you Adekunle Gold for always keeping us entertained despite”- Twitter user.
Adekunle also performed at Uganda yesterday and it was a very welcoming and heart filling performance and had him overwhelmed and grateful that his efforts have been accepted and given the accolades that it deserves.
