Adeboyes’ Africa Missions Plan To Touch 100M Lives Put It On Global Stage

In a momentous event held at the Millennium Hilton in New York, Pastor E. A Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, took center stage during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) week.

This event marked the launch of Africa Missions Global’s (AMG) latest initiative, Horizon 2033, a significant step towards reaching 100 million lives in Africa and around the world with humanitarian support over the next decade.

With dignitaries from around the world in attendance, including representatives of African heads of state and senior UN officials, the Adeboyes introduced AMG’s mission to the global community.

The event followed the UN Global Women Foundation’s recognition of Pastor Folu Adeboye as a Woman of Distinction for her outstanding global peace ambassadorship earlier in the year.

Pastor E. A Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and Life Patron of AMG, stated, “We prefer not to make noise, but we are in almost all the nations in Africa, providing schools, boreholes, and more, not by governments. But when the UN took notice and honored my wife, we felt it’s time to introduce ourselves to the world for more collaboration.”

Horizon 2033, AMG’s latest initiative, aims to build new partnerships across public and private sectors, seeking support to impact 100 million lives by 2033, primarily through educational initiatives aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4, focusing on Education.

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, praised the Adeboyes, saying they “have really inspired us a lot.” She commended AMG’s overwhelming work and emphasized the importance of living beyond oneself.

Pastor Folu Adeboye, the AMG Visionaire, outlined Horizon 2033’s goal to nurture future leaders with strong moral values and integrity, emphasizing the need to act in the face of global challenges. She expressed the organization’s commitment to partnering with governments, multilateral, philanthropic organizations, and like-minded individuals to achieve their 100 million lives target.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State noted that AMG’s event at the UNGA was perfectly timed, aligning with the gathering of heads of state. Ms. Sanda Ojiambo, the UN Assistant Secretary-General & CEO of the UN Global Compact, lauded AMG’s dedication to education and health initiatives over the years.

In a closing statement, Pastor E. A Adeboye, known for his visionary outlook, confidently stated, “Within the next ten years, AMG will touch 100 million lives, whether you believe it or not. We serve God by serving the people, and we see a great future, so great that only God can make it happen. They call me a dreamer.”
