2023: I Have No Structure Of Criminality, Peter Obi Replies Critics

With the growing popularity of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi across the country as the 2023 general election draws close, critics have alleged that he and the party has no formidable structure to clinch power next year.

Responding to that, Mr. Obi said those making such assertion are referring to political structures of corruption and criminality which he doesn’t have and strongly abhors.

Speaking to Nigerians in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the United States on Wednesday, August 31, the LP presidential standard bearer said the type of structures that his critics are talking are such that involves bribery and corruption; sharing money to acclaimed political stakeholders to enlist their support and help in rigging election to win, without recourse to examining the character and capabilities of the contestants in providing quality leadership which ultimately matters to the people at the long run.

He however, said such mentality and apporach of having political structures to win is not what he stand for or intend to create to win the presidential election.

Speaking about campaign, he urged the people to invite other presidential candidates to come and speak to them directly not sending proxies who will speak on their behalf.

He said people should take time to examine all the presidential candidates, their past activities and what they stand to offer the country.

He urged the people to vote him not based on his ethic group or religion, but based on what they think he can offer in solving the country’s problems.
