Presidential and other aspirants wishing to buy nomination forms for the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries will have to wait until sometime next week, as the forms are not available for collection on Friday as contained in the Party’s National Executive Committee- approved timetable.
Checks by Prime Business Africa revealed that the ruling party will no longer be making the forms available on Friday as earlier announced because the Senator Abdullahi Adamu-led leadership ”is more interested in ensuring a hitch-free and seamless process,” according an authoritative voice in the leadership of the political party.
Controversy had trailed APC’s confirmation of N100 million, N50 million and others as costs for presidential and other nomination forms for the purpose of its primaries in the countdown to the 2023 general elections.. The confirmation followed this newspaper’s exclusive report to the effect two weeks earlier.
