BREAKING: 2 Kidnapped Nollywood Actors Released In Enugu

Two Nollywood actors, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Agbogidi who were kidnapped in Enugu six days ago have been unconditionally released by their abductors.

This was announced by the National President of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas in Lagos on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

He disclosed that they were released unharmed and said God must have touched their hearts.

The statement added that “The guild has arranged for medical check-up and psychological support for the victims. On behalf of their families, we express our heartfelt appreciation to the Nollywood industry and Nigerians at large for the support and prayers during the trying period.”

Rollas urged members of the actors guild to be security conscious on and off film sets and to take precautionary measures on their personal security.

The AGN had announced the abduction of the two actors after their family members confirmed that they did not come back after a shoot in Ozalla town, Enugu.

Asides being an actress, Cynthia Okereke is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist who hails from Enugu State. She is already a grandma and will be 62 years by October 3.

Clemson Agbogidi is a movie producer and writer. He’s popularly known for his Native Doctor and Chief Priest roles in Nollywood movies.
